Enrollment Requirements

Evaluation

Prior to enrolling, each guest and their owner is required to go through a thorough interview and temperament screening process.  This gives you a chance for you to learn about our program and for us to learn about your dog.  If your dog passes the initial evaluation, we will then schedule a trial day for your dog to meet our staff and determine compatibility within our group.  The evaluation fee of $15 and the trial day fee of $30 is non-refundable if your dog is unable to participate in our program for any reason.

We do not accept the following breeds in our group day care program.  However, talk to us about our one-on-one or mult-dog family programs.
  • Pitbull
  • Staffordshire Terrier
  • Bull Terrier
  • American
  • English Bulldog
  • Chow
  • Sharpei
  • Cane Corso
We retain the right to refuse any dog if it is determined to be unsuitable for our program.  Common reasons for a dog to be denied admittance include but are not limited to: shows aggressive behavior toward Innkeeper or other dogs, shows nervous or anxious behavior, show overly possessive tendencies, or has medical issues.

Guidelines
All dogs attending our daycare program must:

  • Be at least 6 months old
  • Be in general good health and have written proof of up-to-date vaccinations (see below)
  • Be on a routine flea and tick program and in good health
  • Be spayed or neutered
  • Be in good health. Dogs that have been ill with communicable conditions in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
  • Have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or dog. The safety of our dogs and staff is our main priority and we take every care to make sure each dog has a pleasant and enjoyable play date with us. Please keep in mind that even in well supervised play your dog might still acquire the occasional nip or scratch.

Vaccinations

To be fully effective all vaccines should be administered by your vet at least 14 days prior to arrival at the facility.  The Dog Eaze Inn will not accept any guest that does not have the proper vaccinations required.

Canine guests are required to have the following vaccinations:

  • Distemper/parvo
  • Combination, rabies and bordetella vaccinations

We do not accept pets that are diabetic or require special medical attention at the Inn but will refer you to a qualified veterinarian who can board and administer treatments to your pet.
