Play Daze Daycare Facts
We offer three separate outside yards to accommodate
our guests of different sizes and activity level. Our yards are all outside, however, a portion of each yard will
be covered in the event of inclement weather and to provide shade during the summer months. In the event of significant
rain or snow, daycare will not be held and a message will be on our answering machine if it is cancelled.
We keep our innkeeper to guest ratios low. This
enables us to match our guests’ personality and playing level appropriately.
We provide detailed training to all
our Innkeepers – our staff is required to pass the Pet Services Association certification levels I and II, as well as
CPR training and First Aid for pets. We also hold monthly training sessions with an animal behaviorist.
Our daycare is provided in a controlled environment,
with our staff maintaining the “alpha” role at all times. It is the Innkeeper’s role to keep peace
within the group – not to “play” with the dogs. As such, the Innkeeper is able to formulate the best
playgroups, matching dogs of similar age and play styles and keep the group playing safely.
